WHOA....

Thu morning an important meeting was called by one of the top people in our department.

He announced that he was leaving and taking a new position in another company in a totally different industry! Everyone was shocked. Disbelief on our faces.

How could he leave a totally secure job, great life here in America as well as in Singapore and go to a country known for chili and earthquakes? I'm guessing you guys now know what country. XD
i only met him once and spent less than an hour talking to him during our quarterly department lunch.

In those few minutes, it was enough to say that he was a really cool guy. There was something about him that makes you open up to him and he's really really funny.
He said that he felt God was leading him in a new direction and he and his family have prayed and talked about their move. I wasn't surpised that he's a christian.

The way he talked about God's leading was like, so normal...like all of us were christians and he couldn't care less what others thought. He inspired me.

In less than 10 min, he was able to talk about his faith but it took a decade to build up his 'reputation' as a good boss, as a good person..and everyone was affected by his announcement. He was loved.
Of all the people i've met, he's the only one who really inspired me!...and i only spent like, 40 minutes with him over lunch!

So i pray that i would be like him..the love of Christ shining through my life.

TOMYAM NITE AND L4D2 demo

It was our monthly TomYam Nite-uh!!!!!! We met up with Yuting's friends at Bugis mrt.

We each ordered a bowl. Even SuTing ordered! We were really touched that she went the extra mile even when she can't take spicy stuff....awww.... :)

After eating dinner, we went to Bugis iluma where we went to the arcade. I won first!
Haha coz Lex's bike wasn't working.

Of course Lex and SuTing won first lol...i thought i had to avoid all those blocking the way then they told me i should bump those to get the boost..lol.

YuTing always sits here. I love the wind!

We also walked around and took some pictures! XD So fun!

Entertaining ourselves while the others played L4d2 demo!!!!!!!waaahh...only a few more days until the fast ends!!!!woo! Thank God! Persevere!!!!!

We went to this shop where i kept on squeezing the shrilling chicken...as Kim said i wish washing our sins was this easy!

Sunday....we went to the arcade..and we 'accidentally and surprisingly' met E462!
hmmm...what a coincidence!

WEE - WHOOOO - WEEEET

One thing comes to mind when i hear wee-who-weet-->Justin Tan..and what comes to mind when I hear Justin Tan? only one thing of course. Alexis.

Haha, you guys thought I was going to say L4D huh? muwahaha! ok, lol. i was kidding. 2 things come to mind. Alexis and L4D.

With L4d 2 coming, i can hear Jordan and Justin Tan's pleadings inside my head..but i have to finish my LAN (L4D) fast. I'm not sure what to call it. It should be fasting from L4D but once you say LAN fast, they get what i mean. I'm not going to play for 2 weeks. Only Jordan knows how sick i got after playing. it was bad.

However, playing L4D helped me during my company team building last Friday. I actually taught my boss how to play. How cool is that?! It helped me to talk to the guys in the team and even now, they are still asking me about LAN.
It also helped in connecting with our cg's new friend from China. I don't talk to him much but we now have a connection, you might say, through l4d and CS. which is so cool.

SO,LAN has its good, its bad and its ugly. The main thing is to play moderately..to stop when you know you're addicted and make sure you pray more than you play.
